Vintage New York Yankees 1998 World Series Champions T-Shirt (Size XXL). The Yankees began their World Series threepeat in the late 1990s. This tee is commemorative of the 1998 World Series where the New York Yankees beat the San Diego Padres. The NYY swept the Padres in a 4-0 series. They won the 1998, 1999 and 2000 World Series with ease. 1998 was their best team in since 1927 and probably ever in any pro sport. The ash gray shirt makes a great make ground for the loud, celebratory graphic. The graphic does feature a few areas with chipping or paint on it.
